Henderson     Among the members of the Border League are members of the Henderson Clan. The Hendersons of the Highlands were well-known, but the heritage of the Hendersons of the Border Marches is lost in the mists of time. Our Hendersons are merchants. They travel with Glencairn's cadre to the Faires of England to sell, buy and trade with craftsmen, guildsmen and other merchants, whom they might not meet above the Anglo-Scottish border. Maighred Ruadh Stewart Henderson, know as "Red Maggie" is married to Thomas Henderson. They will be found in the Border League encampment with their wares. And Red Maggie will likely be at her spinning wheel, making yarn from wool, sharing the tricks of the trade with visitors and telling tales of the Scotland she loves.

The Henderson family is portrayed by Jay and Susan Mayer of Tujunga, California. Jay is an accomplished graphics artist and electronic draftsman. Susan (nee Hendrick, a variation of Henderson) is an accountant/bookkeeper in Los Angeles. Both are long-time participants in Renaissance Fairs and the SCA.
